STRUCTURED PLAY

Round Robins

Participate in an organized rotation matching every player with a different partner & opponent for every game.

Cream of the Crop

Round 1 // The Sorting Round. Each player will play a game with the other players in your initial group of four & keep track of scores.

Round 2 // Players will be sorted onto courts based on the results from the first round of games.

Round 3 // A series of three games with the top two players from each court moving up & the bottom two players moving down after each game.

The top player on the top court after the third round is crowned... The Cream of the Crop

King/Queen of the Court

Game play on several courts with losing teams splitting partners & moving down a court, winning teams moving up & staying together on the top court until they lose or win three straight games.

Ladder Leagues

Players will be manually ranked for the first court assignments.

In round 1, the top four players play on court 1, 5-8 play on court 2, 9-12 play on court 3. Three games are played, each with a different partner in your group, keeping track of each player’s individual score for each game. These scores are totaled for each player.

In court 1, the top three scores stay in court 1, the bottom score moves down to court 2.

In court 2, the highest score player moves up to court 1 & the lowest score player moves down to court 3, the middle two scores stay on court 2.

In court 3, the highest score moves up to court 2, the other three players stay.

Then you play again…Round 2,3,4… as many as you have time for.

At the end of the final round, you re-rank everyone according to where they are after the final round. This will be their starting positions for the next time you play. If someone missed a week or two, they still hold their ranking number for the next time they play. If more than 12 players show up to play, then you create byes (sit outs) after each round.

Games are timed, rather than playing to 11 points, to provide for a balanced & fair allocation of playing time for everyone participating.
